5th November 2005 Windsurfing: Golf Course Car park, Ynyslas Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: 20-25 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot surf Air Temperature: 12ºC Sea Temperature: 13ºC Weather: Showers Max Speed: Distance Covered: Started off with my 5.7m and big 90ltr wave board which was perfect for a while then the wind picked up so we all quickly changed down to 5m sails and our little wave-boards, Perfectly powered with the smaller kit so things were looking up. The water was fairly flat although the surf did pick up a bit as the wind filled in. Had some nice floaty jumps off the swell out the back and one or two really good jumps off the back of wabes on the way in. I then made a couple of forward loop attempts which is always good fun and got pretty close to landing one. I ended up still holding on, feet still in the footstraps and in the water start position so just threw the sail forward, water started and sailed off. A lovely day!! |
